# Void an approved payroll

An approved payroll cannot be deleted, it can only be voided.

To void an approved payroll, 

* Go to Payroll --> Payroll Run 
* Choose the approved Payroll you want to void from the list of Payrolls. 
* Enter the Reason for voiding the approved payroll and click on Void Payroll. 
* Notification will be emailed to the employee.
