# Add a product

To add a product: 

* Go to Master --> Product.  
* Select Add New Product.  
* Set the type of product as Goods or Service. 
* Enter the product name, product code, VAT percentage of the product, and select the category which the product belongs to. 
* Tick the sales information checkbox if you need to add details regarding that. 
* Enter the product selling price and choose the account.\* 
* Check the purchase information box so that you can enable inventory for that product. 
* Enter the product purchase price and choose the account.\* 
* Check the enable inventory box to track your stocks. 
* Click on Create.  
* Click on Create and More to add another Product. 

The product you added will now appear in the list of products.
