# Add New Employee Designation

To add new employee designation,&#x20;

* Go to Payroll >> Payroll config.&#x20;

Note: We have predefault designation (Director, Manager, Employee) and they can’t be edited.&#x20;

* Click add new designation.&#x20;
* Fill the mandatory details (Designation Id, Designation Name)&#x20;
* Click Create.&#x20;

Note: The designation which is created can be editable.&#x20;
