# Update the VAT details of a product

As there is a recurring change of tax code in the market, it is necessary to keep the tax details of a product updated. SimpleAccounts helps you to edit the VAT details of any product at any point of time.  

To update VAT details of a product: 

* Go to Master --> Product. 
* Click on the drop-down menu against the product you want to update from the list of products.  
* Click on Edit. 
* Change the VAT percentage. 
* Click on Update.
